Here's the scene: you're estimating a story, and everyone's chosen their cards. 

They flip over, and you see: a Pass, a 5, 8, 13, 13, 21 and 34.

The Current Score area shows 21. 

How did it arrive at this estimate? 

Each Player that chooses a numbered point card is given a value that matches the number chosen. The average is determined by taking the sum of points played and dividing by total number of players that chose numbered point cards (note: ?, Pass and Coffee Break cards are not included in the average).

The last step in the calculation is to round the average up to the next number in the Dealer-chosen point scale. 

So, for our example above: 

The Pass card is ignored. 

5 + 8 + 13 + 13 + 21 + 34 = 94 total points played. 

94 / 6 players that chose numbered point cards = 15.667 

15.667 rounded to the next number in the Dealer-chosen Fibonacci sequence = 21

What happens if we want to go with another score? You've got a couple options:

• Click the Edit Score link underneath the averaged score. You have the option to manually type in a new score. Make sure to hit the Save Score link underneath to lock it in.
• The Dealer can Reset the Story to give everyone a fresh round of effort pointing.
